A very good day to be at 600m today. The weather was on our side, with that typical tricky wind especially in the morning. It is alway a challenge when the wind , even when it is light, comes over the right shoulder. Those that read the weather report , waited for the Afternoon session , when the wind turned to the NE. It did though go through a switching stage until it settled.
Well done to those that shot a good score. Great practice for the Anzac shoot this week.
BROWN SNAKE …. We had a young Eastern Brown Snake pay us a visit. It actually slithered over a shooter while he was shooting! Quick thinking from his fellow members to advise him to “DON’T MOVE” saved the day. We followed the snake on it’s journey across the range, watching it traverse under vehicles until it found a safe spot in long grass away from people.
This Friday and Saturday is the Anzac shoot. There is no club shooting.
